Valve did make commands to force the game to run on DX8 graphics for a reason. If you don't like how laggy Counter-Strike is, just us "dxlevel 80" in the command parameters.

Same! Except RD-RAM is old, and slow by today's standards. Expensive too! It's a dollar on the GB almost. (256MB stick is like, $220.)

have you turned down your resolution? do you even have a GFX card (not integrated)? have you tried using your GFX card control panel?
It's around 6 years old.. 3.0 GHz, 256MB RAM, gfx card is a RADEON 9550..
Even with my display settings turned all the way down I can really only play dust2, and even then it takes forever and a day to load and gameply itself is choppy at times. Any other maps like office are just super laggy. :?

Okay, half rant, half question: My PSP battery is not in working order...does anyone know if it is possible to install an update without a battery?

I don't have one... but I can't see why any function of the PSP would require a battery, if it's plugged into the mains...

I hate the way you pretty much have to talk about yourself in the third person on Facebook.

I'm trying to create songs in dB FeedBack for Guitar Hero and it's getting harder than I thought. The song I picked changes speed a few times so It's kinda hard to dial in the Metronome to the proper speeds, and the controls are fairly confusing. Maybe try a new song...

USPS 2-3 day is on its second day (received confirmation yesterday), with no status update on their tracking site, so unless my shipment has Ludicrous Speed, I don't think it'll be 3 day.
Grr.

For so many Youtube Guitar Hero bot videos, it sure is hard to track a bot down.

The battery needs to be at a certain charge level to perform an update. When there is no battery, it gives the "battery is low" message anyway. It is quite dumb. :\

I have two packages coming. One made it in to customs a day before the other.. And the one that made it in earlier got out in an hour, and is now at a delivery unit. The other which got there first, is still there now, and has been there since sunday/saturday.
Better than paying 50 dollars for shipping from US. Then another 50 or 40 for exonerating a package that size.

"So this one time I was at a model airplane convention, and some guy was like trying to put his kid in his model airplane, and I ran over and yelled:
'HEY MAN, YOU CAN'T DO THAT, YOU JUST CANT DO THAT!'
And he said 'Oh yeah? Inspect it.'
So I inspected it, and it was fine."

Rant: Idiots; and my pure hatred for them.
This kid was trying to convince my dad, who works for the FAA, that this guy flew his kid in a model airplane.
Hmm.
