you can just save a render as a png and it does it for you you know...

From the 3dsmax render window you save as png with interlaced or alpha channel so unless you have a different version of 3dsmax..

the whole bump map is very strong and needs to be lightened, and the viser needs to be stronger

I like it, it's just you should have made them reflective and played with the lighting before you put them in.

So... you're saying you made the MC model? :P

The visor seems a bit simple. Check out other peoples visors, are they one color? If you're going for the in-game look, look around at some MC shots from the game, they have some black streams in them (I don't know the technical term for it)
