OK i'm definately wrong about insolence and terminal. i tried to open a modded triplicate and it failed. but i just tested this with a clean one and it opened fine. so my bad

I'm in no way trashing your brilliant program and the gallons of eye and brain sweat you have put into it, but i have no luck moving hlmt and mainting sync.

example- i was working in the main menu. i added the hlmt of tartarus and the heretic and replaced mc's and the elite's hlmt with that. it looked hella cool on the main menu, but the menu would no longer load maps :cry:

maybe you might be generous enough to release a tut on how to fix references or what not to maintain system link sync on complex injections like vehicles and bipeds for us insolent ones

thanks. i used YOUR kickass ch2r plugin to fix it how it is now. i got the driver sitting in the car right. i could have put the passenger in too but i just lowered him to lounge on the roof because i think he looks pimp there

dark matter has a newwer better plugin for it, in the meta editor it's under attachments or attachment points, forget which....go here to get the latest dark matter plugins :wink:

First of all, its tjc2k4's hard work that is constantly being trashed for no reason, not mine. With respect to the hlmt, I've never had a problem with it..

I wouldn't really mess with adding tags to the mainmenu (or any map with shared resources).. The stuff you added probably increased the size of the raw sound data (which is one of the first things in the map) and threw off almost every one of the raw offsets that are pointed to the mainmenu from all of the SP/MP maps. So, just looking at the models I'm gonna assume that the raw offsets for the MC and a few other things were pointing to the wrong data (Hrm.. Wonder why your maps didn't work?).

i dont know when i tried to load a map with it, it just froze on the loading screen. the biped -->hlmt swaps looked sweet in the menu though. like you can change the color and secondary color of tartarus in the player editor just like he was a mc or an elite (and inject any weapon you want him to hold.) the way he posed and stuff looked very natural and made me wish there where more playable characters available

thanks for telling me what may have screwed it up. the sound? is there any way possible to exclude sound tags from an insolence injection?

also most maps still fail to load. like you said its screwing up all the shared stuff maps look for in the main menu

haha i guess your pretty lucky...ive sseen alot crazier things with mainmenu adjustments, scary but funny....if only Aequitas didnt post earlier i woulda said that hlmt's are fine to do.

and gj. it looks pretty darn kool...only i swear that it was red in sp tho :D

if you inject its bloc tag it comes out purple if you use just the hlmt it is white. i used the hlmt and skinned it purple
