ok now faggot. Before u go flaming a person, actualy try READING the whole thread! If u read it u would see that i said
I used other already existing models as referance models to help me out. The vehicles were given to me by another site, and i edited them and stuff. They came out so good, they look almost exactly the same.
In case u don't know what that means, let me explain it to u. I looked at models other people made and i made them too, but i am just good at modeling so they look the same. Don't be mad at me because i am good and found good referance models. And if u want proof that i am not ripping people's models off, ask katarn who is helping me out. The only thing i used for the weapons is the skin for the mp5k, which i also had to edit to fit the new model. So, way to go u moronic n00b! Next time, don't go flaming people because they have good skills.

dont call him a faggot, thats too mild. If you actually saw the mp5k in 3dsmax, its not as nearly complex as you'd think (the skin is mega good) so therefore i believe that gx shadow did these models. I also have a hint that they are his models because noone would put a *cough19000polygonsnipermodelcough* ingame.
Conclusion: i am siding with gx shadow

lol-ya that model was huge! I wanted to make it perfect so i got too caried away. a question about the base I am making: should i make any other entrances to the roof and flag room. I am thinking on making a teli from inside the base to the top, but not sure. Any suggestions are welcome!

No teleporters inside the base to any other part of the base, that takes away the fun of actually moving the normal way, trying to avoid getting shot. The flag room should be hidden away deep in the building, with lots of bottlenecks to defend from, and cover. The roof should be accessible by a shaft which contains a ladder or some other way of climbing

the thing is i do not lile bottlenecks. If u notice, no good maps have them. Where on the roof should the shaft pop up at?

Right in the middle, Danger Canyon has bottlenecks in the indoor part, Blood Gulch has em in the little caves, death island's are in the flag room, Sidewinder kinda has em, when you enter each base

Used them for refernce? you just downloaded them and rendered them..maybe used the optimize modifier on some but thats it. they are all the same models from the site. the same skin res and and the same models.

and just to let u know, that pistol is a USP
the sniper rifle is a PSG-1
and u might wanna call the cannon a Howitzer

Yeah you are right it is a USP and a PSG-1 they were both made by H&K. I wouldent give him credit for the models...because he downloaded them all.

Obviously you didn't remake those. they are the same damn models exactly the same.. :roll: and obviously you are a bad modeler because you cant make your own models.

A bottleneck only has one small entrance to get in and out of and i thought u wanted me to only have 1 entrance to the bases, and thats why i said that no good maps have them. I thought u were talking about the bases. All good bases have more than 1 entrance/exit. What u r talking about are strategic points in the maps, like if u control them, u control the game.

tyson, i think that might be possible, but i don't know how u would do it. I am guessing u would have to get some kind of file converter or something.

prometheus, this is the last time i will be talking to u. u said i was a bad modeler, then how am i making this kickass lvl? huh? i realy do not care if u think i dled thost models because i know i make them and thats all that matters to me. so keep on telling urself that i ripped people off and am bad at modeling-i don't care what u think. i am mainly just doing this for the selfsatisfaction of making something cool.

Right now, i am putting a pause on this lvl for a few days because i might be helping the maker of the lvl city with some textures for his lvl.

i am making now a second part of the base to put the cannon on. It will be located in that area to the right of the base. I may also make a missle launcher to shoot down planes and am thinking on making a stealth bomber. Now that i look at the map i realize the area by road by the housesis going to be real booring. what can i do to make it more interisting?
