ranking syatem

could someone please explain the ranking system to me, how many posts do i need to stop being a grunt. Or do you have to be an admin to have a rank other than grunt.

Sure. Here it goes:

Grunt 0+
Jackal 100+
Hunter 500+
Elite 1000+

Sentinels are moderators and high profile community members.

Elites have more maneuverability, Hunters just take a lot to take down.

Yeh, there have been a couple of topics about this, I will explain again:

as Grenadiac said, those were the rankings, it is also the covenant caste system, The grunt being the lowest and the Prophet being the highest, I don't know why Grenadiac didn't include them, The prophet is the high ranking religous lord of the community. The brute is the Guardian of the Prophet, they are very hard to kill and are very tough. Then comes elites, Hunters, Jackals and Grunts. Some people have said the the hunter is "stonger" then the Elite, and they should be top, but the elite is the Warlord.

ya, hunters are stupid. think about in real life if there was a super stupid guy but was really tough, and a really smart guy that knew lots of stuff like good ways to attack a base or stuff like that. who would be the higher rank in the army?

Well.. If you add Prophets and Brutes now.. HunterXI will automaticly become a Prophet.. Not good..

Not anymore...I am back...if gren does decide to do something with the ranking system, I would recommend doing it when halo 2 comes out (it would make more sense) then it would be pretty cool...

i say this ranking must stop now, it causes many people to spam post and just write crap so they can get to the next rank,
personally i htink your post count means nothing.
