[mod][skins] FloodCanyon
[mod][skins] FloodCanyon
Story: On your way to a mission your ship is ambushed, and as the most valuable asset to the team you are ejected on the first available lifepod.
You awake in your crashed lifepod to find yourself in a dark canyon.
You recognize the canyon as an old training ground, currently being used as a flood containment center.
The ship's radio has been damaged in the crash, and you remember there is an old equipment depot on the other side of the canyon;
if you can get there and bring back a radio transmitter you may be able to get out alive.
You see fire blocking your easiest route through the canyon, so you must travel through the deep dark depths of the tunnels.

I like this a lot.
Flamethrower reticule is sexy.
I like how you chose to block off certain paths with fire, that's clever.
Overall, just basing this on pictures and what you've told me I wouldn't be surprised if you won this. Good Work, I'm impressed.
Only drawdown for me is no explanation for it, story kind of thing. I dunno, I like stories, gives the fighting a purpose, more campaign-ish.
If you decide to do that, you have until 11:59 to write it up.

So that clears that up.Me wrote:-It must be a mod, not just a single skin/model. Only mods will be considered, either Trial or Full version.
-It must be a PC map, no custom BSP, and no CE tags.
-------SP-MP, custom PC tags and anything not using HEK are allowed.
-It must follow all HaloMods Rules.
-There must be a: Picture/Video, Download, Description.
now, for your other point, that's being extremely technical about it.
but then;PimpDaddySheF wrote:It's a single map correct? When I said Map earlier, I meant map. Not maps. No FTW/FTD stuff in here (sorry Philleh)
OhSnapalapagis wrote:Ok good. What I meant by no FTW/FTD is no super-map packs.
RAWR wrote:I didn't say you couldn't, I just didn't want a map pack to be entered.
I tried to make it clear I didn't want multiple playable maps entered, but I couldn't see the bitmaps.map being included, since it's not a playable map, and is really more a method used for keeping map size smaller.
Ok, this'll fix it before it gets out of hand;
Because of tucker's point, all maps that don't have every single bitmap meta internalized are expelled from the contest, since then you need bitmaps.map to play and that's two maps.
OR:
We can allow the bitmaps.map file to be used in any of the mods entered.
any more discussion on this goes in the topic in modding discussion, NOT THE ENTRY TOPIC.
