sry if I post this in the wrong spot but I need some help. Ok I'm a total noob and I need to know what programs and stuff I need to mod. Please help me.
Woah okay being a noob is nuts arond here. In a matter of hours people are going to be flaming you like crazy. This is what you should do. go to the files section of halomods and look at all the various tutorials and such. then go to the utilities section and download Halo Map Tools version 3.5, Helpful Halo Hacker Tool, and Halo Hacker Tool, and Sparkedit 3.0. Explore these programs and figure out how to use them. Other then this is up too you how good at modding you are. When i first became a modder i learned from scratch just from tutorials on how to do everything. No im to the point where i could write most of those tutorials.
Yea actually to mod now you will need only a few basic program. These are sparkedit 3.01 and HMT 3.5, HHT, and ppf-o-matic. But since HEK is now out you probably wont even need those. Good luck to ya.
Ok I'm having some trouble. After I downloaded HHT and tried to open it I got a messeage that said "A required .DDL file, MSCOREE.DDL, was not found. If you could let me know what that file is and where to get it I would apprericiate it. Plus I cant find HEK anywhere. Please help.
OK for one try reinstalling it sometimes that helps you might just need to restart your computer. As for everything else use the search function im sure this has been answered a hundred time.
wtf are u smoking? HHT saved my mod! i totally screwed my pistol over, and i used HHT to convert another gun into a new usable pistol! doing the same thing i got plasma weapons with infinite ammo!

yeah, HHT does some really useful things. HHT is NOT like HMT! they do COMPLETELY different things!
ok does anyone know wtf MSCOREE.DLL is because its needed for both HHT and HMT and i guess i dont have it so i need to know what it is and how to get it? plz help!
