i was wondering can you mod a map with this program then resign it with johnson v1.4

No, you cannot. you can look at the maps and use this program to research. No one can resign and play on a retail 360 modded .map files. johnson resigns something else (i forget) but it wouldn't let you be able to play the map on your 360. sorry to ruin your day

To be honest I am not sure you can. It might be a myth that you can do that. Even if it was possible this is a halo modding forum not an xbox modding one. You could ask at another site.

No. You can't resign it properly. You can use mods at all.

Engineer doesn't open those maps. It opens multiplayer and campaign maps like salvation.map and 050_floodvoi.map.

That's for a different Engineer that isn't public because there is no need for it to be outside the people who have the ability to get their variants signed.
