It's a bit of a task to put things into proper perspective with criteria like that.

It doesnt take a whole lot of time to see corruption Veegie. Just because somebody hasn't been here since the dawn of time does not mean in any way that they're opinions are worth any less then yours. This is exactly what he was talking about. Several staff members act like they're on some kind of pedestal, that just some five letters under they're name makes them the friggen mesiah.

I have no more problems with my topic having been deleted, I know that it was wanted because I've had multiple people asking me how I did it, and have walked a few people through it. And to everyone who says "dont stoop to their level", save your breath, nobody is going to care. Either they agree with it or they dont, your just wasting time typing out your opinion, cause believe me, nobody cares what your opinion is.

I think what Veegie means is that you haven't been here long enough to have an opinion on whether its has gotten better or worse.

Hell Tural may of loved this mod, I like it. It just is, this is not the place to post it at Hamster.

This isn't an attack at you Veegie, but someone says something that isn't a question, and someone says, "No." If someone does that to a statement of mine, I have difficulty finding out what it means. Another rant:

When I say, "I don't know," and someone asks, "What do you mean you don't know?" Well, it probably freakin' means that I don't know!

And my whole opinion on the DeadHamster mod. Tural is moderator here, if he sees something that could be seen as detrimental to the modding community, he has the right to remove it. Personally, I do think your mod was clever, and worthy of someone downloading, but I could see people complaining. Such as, "Look, modders have even found a way to kick us out of our games!" It'd just be another criticism that HaloMods would have to deal with.

Anyway, how is it common sense to assume people hang around the forums, understand how things were for a long time BEFORE they joined? That's just silly. So since it should be common sense, when did I start hanging around the forum before I joined? Can you take a guess? If you're wrong, does that mean you have no common sense?

Because it's a fallacy. Usually I just say it because it's far too outrageous of a statement to allocate any more work than I need to to address it.

what bothers me though is florida heat. its winter and the lowest its gotten is like 50, and it was cuz of a cold front. mostly its jsut mid to high 80's. its ridiculous.

Veegie. You being staff means you respect the rules. I respect the rules too, except the one i brought up earlier. Now you do know the rule about religion. Refrain from bringing up religion. Please read your sig. Now with the 80000 members here, i am sure that atleast 1000 of them are christian, and find your sig, and the poster to be offensive. Your sig brings up conflict with the religion of christianity, and as the rules clearly state, "They are far too subjective, and always cause far more problems than they solve. It's best to just avoid such discussions, as nothing will ever be gained from them."

You just created a controversy with atleast 1000 members on the site you take care of and look after. Well, im out.

I bent my pull-up bar.

It was just a piece of scrap metal I found laying around, but it was all I had... (I did the palms towards body method and had my hands closer together than I normally do, so the weight in the center of the bar was too great)

I bent it back sort of, but it's not as good anymore.

If you guys have problems with the staff, PM them. You don't need to make a big deal like this, because probably somewhere deep inside, you just want someone to say "YEAH, RIGHT ON, MAN!" and support you. If you really want the situation dealt with cleanly, use PMs.
