Rant: People hating on Tural. He does fine at his job, and when you attack him (or anyone else for that matter) with no logical basis behind your claims...ugh. That just throws my tick switch.

In my opinion, he fails at being a moderator. Especially to us PC users for some reason. You can't have a hypocritical leader, such as tural here.

But, oh well, it's like a dictatorship here and that's all its ever going to be.

Please stop whining, Tural does a magnificent job at Moderation.

I saw the topic he deleted, it was ridiculous. Just because people are using Bots or walkthroughs or whatever, does not mean that he needed to stoop to their level. Geeses go hit your self in the head with the common sense stick will ya.

What is his job? Watching over the community. lemme go read the rules and see if there is a rule that says "A mod that exceptions someone is horrible and not supported here." Unless im blind i dont see a rule that says that.

Here is my rant: Why do staff act better than everyone? I mean seriously. ok you have a link: Administrator Control Panel. That doesnt set your rank to god. Also i disagree 100% with this rule right here "Staff members can judge a situation as they see fit. You can be banned even if you did something not mentioned below." So shall we be paranoid? If i made a mod and it has...lets say a a demonic bipd. So if a staff member doesnt like it he has the right to delete it? I believe the rules should be revised. There should be certain freedoms. Deadhamster made the mod, he put time and effort into it. I know he said "go ahead and delete my topic", but he only said that cause tural just randomly comes into the pc section and starts being an ass. Honestly, i believe the staff members see this site more as a chore, than a fun job. Yeah your in control of like 80000 people. Cant you treat them like a person? I mean, say you love to pick pears. you wouldn't have fun picking pears if that was a chore. I believe the staff here were happy to be staff in the beginning years of halomods, but now they view this site as a chore, which is why they treat people who piss em off horribly. Now i know this is like the walmart of modding, so you guys dont want a bad person to come into the leadership position of that as a mod, but i SERIOUSLY believe that this site needs new leaders. From what i see from here, the sites not going to get better. In history, how did the kings of the monarchy work? 1 died, then the next one ruled. I feel the staff members are old, and tired of being a leader. how is democracy. They stay in office for no longer than 4 years. This site has been open for around 7. The newest staff member i have seen is CabooseJr, and i believe he is the best moderator. he doesnt take his job for granted. I actually look up to him.

I believe that is the end of my rant.

Also Munsie, If an opinion is a thought of your own, how is it false?

@Andrew: I was going to counter that post, but I would probably just be wasting my time/starting a fight.

In short, I disagree. If this is an attempt to get new mods/change the moderation in any way, I would give up now if I were you.

I do agree that quite a bit of the staff here acts in ways that they shouldn't at times, but then again, so do the best of us. Don't like what they say? Ignore them, but that's no excuse to ignore the rules. Half the time people go around bothering the staff and when they tap you on the shoulder you go around acting like they're the assholes.

That's a bit of an issue. What you've seen isn't much. You've not been here for even a year...
It's a bit of a task to put things into proper perspective with criteria like that.

I'm tired of seeing this fight continue about hampsters mod.

Here's my perspective:

I liked the mod, and thought it was clever. I think he's entitled to his own personal way of getting rid of hackers that are in his server. However, I haven't seen those kinds of programs on this site. Not once. I know of plenty programs out there that do things to mess with people's Halo, but I haven't seen any posted here.

As previously stated, Halomods doesn't condone those kinds of programs and mods. It just isn't how we are from what I've seen. No one's stopping you or anyone from posting it on other sites. The basic message is, just don't post it here.

Anyways that was my rant. I have been holding that in for a long time. Personally i have only pmed tural 3 times. 3rd time he told me to fuck off.
