I've decided to further my extremely small knowledge of programming by trying to learn C#.

It didn't go so well. In Anthony's [sources, apps, tuts] Loading and Editing a Halo Map thread thing, he didn't include the tut for C#.

So I see a thread, how to make a web browser in C#. Didn't exactly work. The menu box sorta doubled itself, and none of the buttons worked.

I see an old link by Tural leading you to how to make a resigner, and I'm like Yes! That'd be sweet. Anyway, C# is like, "no, you're not allowed to have equal sign and greater than/less than signs here! not allowed!" And I can also only assume that you need more than the code that the guy posted to actually run the program. (No Tural, I'm not blaming you for a bad link)

I haven't searched much except for those, but I can't find many up-to-date tutorials that actually work the first time you try them. Ragdoll linked me a tut awhile ago, but I lost it

There was a tornado a bit north of me in the Washington city of Vancouver. I live in Portland which isn't that far away at all. Kind of cool, as long as it doesn't hit homes.

For those that don't know, tornados in Oregon and Washington are really, really rare.

Damn. I still have no 360elite4free referrals, even like half a year after I signed up. I've posted tons of myspace bulletins, comments on band pages, and stuff liek that. A guy on h2vista.net even was PM'ing me for a while asking for help, and I was thinking I'd get a referral from him, but nooo. He just stopped all of a sudden and now I'm left with a total of: 0 out of 12 referrals.

I'm starting to think I might have wasted that 10$ I spent on the blockbuster offer. My dad won't even let me post an ebay auction for advertising the thing! Maybe I should leave some more comments on band pages on myspace.

Blatant disregard for the rules, purposefully stating he knew it was not allowed. He did it with the sole intention of breaking the rules/causing problems. It contributed absolutely nothing. On top of that, his previous record works greatly against him.

I'm sorta confused. He must've been banned for a different post then.

I don't see where he states that he understands it's against the rules. It may have been slightly implied, but it's not really solid enough to claim that. And really, he contributed the same thing everyone else has been. That .9~ really does = 1.

Really, I'm just mad because I feel that he's contributed enough that a minor infraction shouldn't get him banned. But that's me.

This is all of course if it is for the post he made in that thread. The one where he uses the code to explain why. I dunno, maybe he posted something, and it got deleted and I just didn't see it.

No, staff was right to do what they did. Jackson had some many warnings from the past.

Since I'm perma banned I thought I would try to explain myself.

The reason this happened is fairly simple; I'm stressed to hell with school, and provincial exams.

You ever write an email not meaning to send it? This is one of those cases where the send button was pressed.

What I said in the post was blatantly rude, and highly inappropriate, but it was never intended to be read.

I know it sounded like I was directing it at the staffing, which explains the quick ban, the permanence of it, and the lack of any warning.

I would like to make it clear to the staff that the message was un-targeted; I was simply ranting what was on my mind as a way to vent some steam as it where.

I would simply like to apologize to the staff for posting what I did, and request that it is removed.

He said "If this gets deleted," showing that he knew there was reason for it to be deleted. Else, he would have no reason to even address the possibility. Furthermore, part of it being on topic does not mean the rest of the post is exempt from rules about contributing.

Yeah Jackson did it to himself, staff are just doing their job. Plus, he made an even bigger mistake by ban evading... talking to a staff member over MSN, AIM, or whatever else there is out there would have been the smart thing to do.

Anyways, I hate exams after Christmas. Before is better.

Yeah I'm so glad the school I moved to has their finals before christmas break.. I would have easily done considerably worse on them... That's how it was at my old school. Wonder if that had anything to do with my B average on the finals :/
