you know i sat here and tried to limit my options down to a top 8 and for me it simply wasn't possible. its not the fact of who i respect but what i respect in them. respect is earned and not just given so i then have to think of who has earned my respect by the actions they have done. i tend to find it alienating to leave out so many cause a few 8 may shine above the rest. so im simply going to do my list like this...
if your still on my xfire as of this moment then you have my respect. i don't keep my xfire cluttered with nonsense. if ive ever answered a question for you and took the time to actually dig up the answer then thats telling you something also. i respect people who act first and try things on their own but have the knowledge to know when its right to ask for help or at least pointed in the right direction. i respect those who are willing to try new things to break away from whats popular and those who love to go against the grain. i respect the admins here who are blunt and honest but have the decency to speak to people as if there a regular user as well with power. i respect those who believe in giving credit for anything even if it it just simply inspiration so it shows how humble they are and not worrying about bathing in self glory. theres alot of things that make me respect people and those are just a few.
this list below is from the view of these forums. if you fit into that niche i posted above then yes, you already have my respect. these names just stand out for me in no certain order.
Cox/RVB:
i combined these two cause its for the same thing basically.. their sig work. i haven't seen two artists be so diverse in their posting of sigs for the weekly competition. neither one of them stay in a set patten and always are offering a new style. some are simple and some look complicated. neither one of them seem to stay in one set style so much kudo's for learning and advancing then being stuck in the same mold.
tural/shadowkhas:
this ying and yang of the admins i associate with via pm's. if its something serious i tend to go to tural. its like no nonsense action and no reply given back. it done, over and delt with. on the other hand if i need to discuss something i go to shadow. he takes the time to send replies back and follow up on issues i may be having. he uses emotions in his replys adding that "im a user just like you" feel to his messages. one is blunt, one is relax.. but like a yingyang im sure each possess the others qualities in them as well.

the man is simply awesome. no on else could share our love for blues music and trying to do new stuff with a very aged game. well, some can but not many. hes always thinking of new things and pushing the envelope on whats possible in anything he does. hes one of those people who show you the solution door to your problem and makes you actually walk through it. he doesn't do the work for you but will show you were to go. mad respect on that alone.
caboose jr:
best mod i know. he gets involved in his work and actually take the time to sort through issues then "lock/move on". sometimes it feels like he likes watching people fight to hang themselves then issues the corrections needed. making boose a mod was the smartest move ive seen the pc section have to date. hes active in our sections and knows and talks to its regulars. your doing a awesome job boose!

for putting my retarded self in its place in that "what makes a outstanding mod" thread. if it wasn't for forge being so bluntly honest to me in that thread i would have never done redux or ftw. forges comments made me so angry that i just wanted to learn all i could to prove to him i could be outstanding and could do something above the norm, but during thoes hours of being mad i realized it was forges words that were actually pushing me to try harder and better. perfect my work and not be half arsed. thx iron for knocking me around and waking me up.

when i began modding i couldn't get a answer to anything here and was dubbed "noob" like the norm. thoes guys there actually took the time to go in depth with answers to problems i needed. they taught me how to work and to work efficiently. if you need proof on this then all thoes "zOMG" comments on ftw ive been getting? the ftw mod is in fact the first time ive ever pmi'd. some know this and now i guess all do. thanks for all the help and support guys.
the guys on the midnight xfire mod chats:
this list would include andrew, malolo420, ryder, hamster, brightside, homies, spartian, ups and patrick. these are the 100% regulars every night. these guys have always been there for me when i needed them. they help me out, back my play and tell me point blank if something isnt right or can be done better. they know i want quality in my work and they tell me if something is wrong and what needs fixed. a awesome group of guys im happy to call friends and would do anything for.
sorry for the novel but you touched a topic that i hold close to me i guess. i couldn't just drop 8 names and move on without explaining why their there and the reasons behind them. honorable mentions go out to people like JK-47, tazz, lambda, philly and so forth. i simply don't know how to add you guys in without making a huge list. but im sure you get what im talking about.
and no. i didn't forget nessa. the other half of "PepNess". your evil anda perfectionist. your stubborn and cocky and always wanting to rise above all the trendy things in life. i couldn't ask for a better partner in modding and web design. also.. your a nade wh0re. <3
