Stupidity.

I hate kids who try to conform to the general idea of acceptance that it's cool to be stupid, so they try to act like complete mindless retards just so they can be 'cool'. It gets on my nerves, my friends make fun of me when I pull out my book in class and start reading (half jokingly, of course. But still, kinda making fun of me like "omzgz u reed?"). I've noticed reading is kind of a dying thing... It's really sad, I used to be uninterested in reading a while back, but it's because I didn't give it a shot, and only read the lame ass books that were assigned in my English class.
I hate kids who act stupid towards teachers to be 'funny'. Sure, it's one thing to joke around with one, but it's annoying when someone I know is purposefully acting dumb just so people will laugh at them.

Another thing that irritates the hell out of me is when people go out of their way to be part of the group. Meaning, they do a certain thing to 'initiate' themselves into a group of people. For instance, one of my more stronger irritations, doing drugs. Drugs have been around in my life a lot (not involving me doing them, of course), and has done nothing but damage. Almost lost a close family member (did, loose him actually. The doctors were able to bring him back). And only got to see him in a rehab house full of other addicts. I've lost a lot of friends because they decided to be 'cool' and start in the crap. I chose to loose them, of course, because I don't want to be involved with it. Sure, I could say no (which I do every time I'm offered), but I get all this crap from people when I do, which I don't need.

I don't understand why people can't be their own person instead of relying on a false reality that is high school. High school is nothing like real life. Sure, you may learn social skills and such, but it's not how life is going to be.
I dunno, just openly ranting, but that stuff really irritates me.

Agreed.

It's kinda like getting Plastic Surgery, It a rare opportunity to get their outer appearance to reflect on how they feel on the inside... Fake.

My rant: story uppers.

You try and tell somethings thats happened to you, and The "story upper" feels the need of trying to out do you.

Example:

Kid- "I broke my leg last year"

Story upper- " Yea thats nothing, I broke my leg then I had to walk home on it, then on the way home I was attacked by a land shark."

Cox you get kudos for making one of the most odd analogies ever.

Damn, I hate typing up rebuttals only for them to be too aggressive, despite my intentions or not being able to describe what I mean. But to summarise it really basically: All people seek acceptance in some way, just unfortunate they did it that way. However, it shouldn't impact on your level of fun which it sounds like it is. You say its nothing like real life and it should be treated that way as believe it or not you are a child have fun. Have fun until those opportunities to do so get lower and lower later in life. But yeah, those people do kinda suck (but I only had one or two token guys or girls).

To destroy what I was saying above anyway. That situation sucks. I hated it too...However I didn't let it get in the way of my fun (see above)

My rant: Vista drivers[/i] my intel wireless card is CRAP. I do not understand it in anyway. I know it is a widespread problem as a simple google returns many forum rants about it...so here's mine. Why the hell does it randomly drop HTML? The interenet will be running fine and then it'll just stop until a restart, There is a variable time in which this problem happens and other things like xbox live or MSN can still work (sometimes). This doesn't make sense. This is due to the driver (at least I'd say so) because it works in both ubuntu and XP. It really annoys me. I'm trying to research, or post here or something and BAM nothing! fuck you! you whore! you go die now! I guess I'll look more into it.

Dont let every fucking thing bother you, cowboy the fuck up and realize that you sound exactly like the "false reality" you want to get out of so bad. JK's got the truth. People try to act drunk, high, dumb, spaced out, etc. just to be cool nowadays. The most retarded thing ever. What happened to kids being who they are...intelligent, wise, funny...Cept no...we have to have kids who are acting drunk. At my HS they alot of kids do that to act cool.

No one does bad stuff to be cool in my school. You just have to be funny, hot, or a football player to be cool

No drugs or anything. And when the kids do stupid stuff to be funny, it IS funny, they don't just look like retards, they are actually funny. For example, there's this autistic kid in my class, and one time in math during a quiet test he randomly goes "Ahhhhuugggh!" And everyone starts lmao'ing. Then a minute or two later one of the "cool" kids reproducts the sound, and let me tell you, I don't feel good that he was making fun of an autistic kid, but damn that was the funniest freaking thing ever.

There have been plenty of times when kids have just done funny but not just completely dumb stuff. So my point is, not all schools involve drugs and making yourself look like a complete dumb ass to be cool.

Its because most humans are weak and feel like they need to belong somewhere and therefor conform to other ideas so they feel like they have a purpose... i mean just look at religion.

I'm running out of space on my C drive, meaning I can't download any rar files about 2 gigs, seeing as before they go to be E drive, they get stored on the temp folder in my C drive.

Check you videos and music and pictures folders and see if there's anything you could delete. Especially videos. I once recorded about 50 10-second clips of me playing in halo with a friend, and I made it into a video and put it on Youtube, but never deleted the clips. About a month later, I realized I had less than a gig left on my HD, so I looked at stuff to delete and realized that the clips I'd taken a month earlier took up about 13 GB, because they were all full-res and 30FPS (that's why I love/hate fraps).

Damn, I have court tomorow. I have to wake up at like 6 in the morning, get all dressed up and drive to Morris County (Like an hour away) then sit in a court room for an hour waiting for a judge to say guilty or not guilty. Then I have to drive back home.

You can't just choose to save the file to the E drive first...?

Rant: The catalytic converter came loose on my car. It's weird. It's still there, but it's just not aligned to the input pipe on my car. HATE. And there's a hole in the input pipe right by the converter, which I just noticed today when I was seeing what was making my car sound like a horrible Civic.

BUT IT DUZ MAEK IT SOUND LIKE I HAV ANTI-LAG LOLZ!11!
