No score until like...the last minute of the game.
Final score: 3 to 0. Steelers.
Least they got the big W.
The field was like playing in a swamp.

I Am Legend was way too short
It was a great book... But I didn't expect it to end at 170 pages.. the book I got it in included another book with in it, which was completley lame and pointless, it just got my hopes up that I'd be reading it for a little while, and that it was an extremely in depth story...
Oh well.. Time to go get a new book.. Seeing as how I've finished 2 great books within the time period of 2 days...

PSU rant ahead, so if you don't understand anything, it's ok.
This mission, Sleeping Warriors S2 takes me about 20 minutes to run and drops the best Rod (casting weapon) in the game. It can drop from any creature in the mission. Each creature, however, has their own special drop. So when I see the red box (what the weapon drops in), it could be either their special drop, or the Rod I am looking for.
I have run this mission 108 times in the past couple of days and received every single item that drops there other than the Rod itself. My feelings can only be summed up by this emoticon:

Everyday, I come to the same realization that the basic instinct of a human being is based upon greed. The belief that humans are inherently evil becomes all too real with each passing day. I'm just sick of it. There's almost no use to do anything good in this world. You'll almost never be thanked or appreciated. Everyone has hardened their hearts to a point where if someone says, "I did your mom last night" and you respond, "dude, my mom is dead," and you are completely genuine, they will respond cruely, with possibly a, "Good, I would have killed her anyway." I find it extremely difficult to find much good in anything anymore. The crap in this place is so overwhelming, there's just no point. I even find myself doing exactly the things I hate. Gossiping, kicking around trash and leaving it there, just overall "sinful" things. I use to be a good, naive kid who believed in everything good, and that's all I ever did. I didn't judge, and I always use to put someone else's needs in front of my own. Someone can ask me for some money to buy a soda, and instinctively I will respond, "No, I don't have any," while I have two quarters in my pocket which I'm not even going to use.
Is it me, or does this world just suck?

If only Scotty... if only.
In public, I almost never see anyone giving money to homeless. I never see good deeds. All I see is crap. Playing soccer, I remember a car driving by and screaming, "Soccer Sucks!" and driving off. Not exactly a "schoolyard chum" experience. I read the news, and people are always killed, or prices are raised, or people becomes homeless. Once again, not exactly a "schoolyard chum" experience. My whole post was not based solely upon that "scene" that I created.

Why should we? I didn't earn my money to give it to some loser who dropped out of high school/didn't go to college and can't afford to fund his life. Oh yeah, that single dollar bill is what's going to turn his life around! Homeless people are parasites, feeding off the host that is successful people who believe in "good deeds".Aumaan Anubis wrote:In public, I almost never see anyone giving money to homeless. Person who said that was a douchebag most likely. I don't like soccer or plenty of other sports, but that's just fucking stupid and cowardly for someone to do that. If they want to walk up to me and say that, fine. If they want to do it from a distance then drive off, they're a fucking pussy.
People are killed? This is news to me. I can't imagine this has ever happened in the past, seeing as it's only human nature to envy others' possessions or success, or be mad at them for something they did. Exacting revenge is part of our nature.
Prices are raised because of inflation, supply and demand, etc...deal with it.
I hate people who yell out the window... or throw crap. I've gotten hit a few times by flying water bottles and such in my area for no reason at all. One time they got lucky with a cup full of ice and hit me right in the balls. It's ridiculous that they'd do that shit in the first place, having absolutely no reason to do that to me, or anyone else. Especially since I haven't done anything to them but apparently bother them with my presence.GametagAeonFlux wrote:

I've also had people stop on the curb and try to start a fight with me for no reason at all... I was just walking on the sidewalk minding my own business. I just looked at them like they were dumbasses and walked off, because no one around here knows how to actually act on their threats.
The world is full of assholes, you just gotta get used to it.

First of all, this isn't the "challenge other people's views and argue about them" thread.
(1) I've been raised in the principle that we give to those who need it. If you'd like to be selfish and keep your money to yourself, then go ahead. That's just not who I am, and not who I want to be. I'm not calling you selfish to be mean, or to flame, it's my opinion based upon what I see as an arrogant response.
(2)I agree on this one
(3)I honestly can't tell what the reason behind the sarcasm was. My initial thought was that you said that because I'm stating something that is normal, and happens on a regular basis, and therefore not significant. To me, it is and always will be a disgusting thing to do, and never something that should be seen as insignificant. I just receive this feeling as though you don't see others dying as much of a tragedy.
(4)I can still rant about it, can't I? I don't need a reason behind every bad thing that happens, because I know there aren't always reasons. I don't see inflation as an excuse for not allowing a poor family heating during the winter.

I'm a cynical person. But despite that, I do what I can. I try to change people's minds on things I think are important...in the end though, I end the conversation and tell them that they can think whatever they want to. Me imposing my "good" views on them is just as bad as them doing it to others..."good" is relative.
