Single EXE, no dependencies VNC viewer that works with Win95 + VNC server running my server = No more SSH at school. I can do a graphical login to my server and run all my apps like gEdit and such.

Java class just got a bit more fun (it's normally boring and I have to correct my teacher's mistakes...)

I'm pretty much deciding that if my parents allow it, i'm getting a 360.

I may sell my aging mac to get it (I can still sell this baby for a little less than if not $1000) #1, I need to sell it anyway, pretty soon it's just going to be too old, and #2, I frickin need the money and I already have a computer (This one) although i'll pretty much stop doing photoshop and stuff... But it's something i'm gonna have to do some time soon anyway, might as well be ASAP.

That's part of it. You don't know how annoying it is to never be able to take part in all the games that go around here, do you?

Might lag *slightly*. But it shouldn't be too bad, assuming the netcode and such is better than Halo 1 PC. I lag bad on there, whereas on counter strike source it's unnoticeable (Though it seems like everyones ping on HPC is always in the 100s)

One thing I've noticed is how good the netcode is for halo3...I've played people like DWells, INSANEdrive and pryroman all so smoothly and I still managed to get kills (not many because I'm just not that good at the game).
So I don't think you'll notice too much

EDIT: Asked my dad if he wanted to buy my computer, he said he might, but didn't have the finances at the moment (we're sorta going on a vacation during Christmas) but I figure I can always take a tiny bit out of my College fund to use while he gets the money. It's not like i'm taking anything out my college fund as i'm not even going, so that makes things easier

, and besides, it'll be paid back by the time i'd technically go to college.

Then again, my dad is sort of strict when it comes to that thing. I don't even know if he'd let me get a 360..
