Let me rephrase Tural's post (or at least what I think he meant):

That was completely untrue and not even plausible. I don't know where you could even begin to imagine that scenario, and then, ever more so, believe it.

/looks at URL.

Yeah, there's an obvious answer.

As anyone can tell you, if you go to a site like this on the internet, you have no other hobbies. You have no life if you come here. Just ask anyone who's been here less than a month or has lost all respect and validity, they'll tell you. They're experts on coolness.

I have a feeling I need to clarify that comment, because it just seems like I can picture it being taken horribly out of context:
That comment is full of sarcasm. It has sarcasm oozing out of it's sarcastic sarcasm.

Go sarcasm! I'm sure someone would have believed that to be true... I may go to the site alot but just when I'm home and don't have anything to do. Or if I am about to leave in say twenty minutes, I won't be able to start something and finish it in that time so I cruise the site.

Back to the topic- I think it is sad people are so desperate for halo 3 they manage to get their hands on it then sell it on ebay.... Those are the people who have no life and basically what tural said except in this case getting halo 3 before release instead of coming to this site. People who come to this site are cool.

No, it couldn't be a way that he got it. Why? Because it isn't the way he got it.

Not to mention that if a truck gets high jacked, that shit goes on the news. Regardless of how they obtained it, eBaying it was probably the stupidest move they could have made, because the only way they could have obtained it would have been punishable (unless they were a Bungie employee/someone who was given the game, in which case selling it would be punishable).

i doubt any bungie employee working on the game would sell it. they're really dedicated to their secretcy and their master plan to rule the earth. they're on step 5 i think.

He was posing that argument as a counterpoint to one you could bring up. He, as well as most people, knows it was taken, illegally, from the manufacturing plant.

We got a few boxes lying around in the electronics stockroom at Target, so some stores do have them this early ;P

Also some warthog action figures about the size of your hand, for $30 :(

Of course stores have them this early. They're just not allowed to open the boxes/release any copies under any circumstances.
