YouTube politicians...Like what the hell? Stay out of a site I like! I don't like you!
This is the kind of thing that happened with MySpace aswell, and probably many other popular areas...

You politicians, actors, musicians and advertisers just fucking milk what you can of popular sites in an attempt to make us like you, if anything, it makes you reek of desperation, your like the child constantly neglected by their parents, constantly screaming for attention. It makes me then dislike the site that I used to enjoy as it has obviously been spiked with your putrid intentions, which go against why the site was created initially.

Myspace, as the slogan implies, is a place for friends, for sharing photos and getting your unique opinions seen by others, now it is a place for businesses, actors, politicians and whatever else to try and expand their market rather than to be friends with people, and make people like you.

The same applies for youtube, if I go to the site, there is a large youtube window there, which is essentially the panel for the busiensses who have the largest pockets to put their ads, which are constantly on radio, tv, newspapers, magazines and on signs in the street who want to reach oversaturation to also displayed it there.

I dispise it.

In fact, I want to see just how much companies want me to buy their products and throw their shit in my face everywhere I turn. How? I think I may tally and photograph every advertisement I see in a day and find out just how high the number really is. My predictions? Roughly 200. Ugh, can't wait

I swear, I never thought I would ever in my life, see such a large number of idiotic, semi-retarded people in one group. These people I talk about are most of the new people here... It's really sad. It really says something about the school system... Sure, they could be the type to sleep during class or not pay attention... But god, even when I did that I still learned things. I'm really just shocked at some of the stupidity I see around this website. And irritated at these childish... un-funny jokes they crack. I'm tired of seeing them spam their own topic, but later snap at others to get back on topic when they are the ones who led it astray. I'm tired of seeing people expect others to do everything for them.

God I could just go on and on... Why won't they leave us alone? :(

And I'm going to say this before anyone goes "Zurmg u wer leik that 2 once!" Yes, given. But I quickly changed to the kind of unofficial standard set here. I use somewhat proper grammar, I search before I ask questions, I don't spam my topic in a sad attempt to be funny, etc. I freakin hate it when people say that, though, "You were a noob once too", it's like when freshmen say "You were a freshmen too once", in a sad defense to try to mask the fact that they're irritating. I don't know why, but it just really irritates me.

There's my rant for the day.

True... but I don't remember it always being like this... Well, in the Users Forum anyways.. I mean, before the merge, things were pretty calm, and people who needed help asked properly and maturley for the most part, and there weren't very many idiots around... Well, in the Users Forum anyways, I didn't go into the Files Forum much.
It's not like I don't like the merge, but it just brought in a new batch of idiots :\

I dropped my iPod 3 times day, and I never usually drop valuable stuff... it now plays whatever songs it wants, the hold button is inverse and the volume adjusts whenever it feels like it. Lame.

Hooray, it's easier for the government to wiretap us without any court oversight.
But honestly, we don't really NEED checks and balances or the 4th Amendment.

I'm sure the government is wiretapping everyone so they can eavesdrop on our conversations about how the summer's going. Honestly, the warantless wiretapping is only bad in ideology, it has virtually no effect on a typical citizen. The pros of such a system outweigh the cons of it. I want you to tell me exactly how it directly affects you, the standard United States citizen. I'm willing to accept your view if you can prove it is as you say it is.

I have absolutely nothing to hide, but I think that removing checks and balances like court oversight is just plain wrong. I can't prove that this will happen, but I'm just thinking about how this could go...people won't care about wiretapping calls that are from or to "suspected terrorists" (who are government defined), and then it'll move on to bigger things that probably will affect us. It's how it's worked with Hitler, and lately, I haven't seen people actually caring about what the government does...everyone just disregards it.

And moar ranting: The Democrats are absolute wimps as well. They WERE going to vote against this bill, but no, they care more about their public image and "appearing soft on terror" to give a crap about our civil liberties.

That's my argument. At best, I hope I changed someone's view on the government...but that's a long shot. Most of you will just think I'm off my rocker. And frankly, I don't care whether you agree with me or not on other politics...but by God, if people don't start caring about our values that make us Americans, and that we should be proud of, that's what makes me mad.

personally i think being able to tap anyone's phone without a warrent is violation of our right to privacy. Whether it directly effects us or not isnt the issue with me its the fact that they can just do it without a warrent pisses me off. I demand certain freedoms.

My school district's levy lost.

By 73 votes.
It's all the !@#$ senior citizens in our city, they all came in because we had an old fart for a mayor, but then he kicked the bucket. Our "Senior Center" at our recreational building is bigger than the rec. Old farts screwing up our city...

So much for taking Honors Computer Science next year, which was already on the chopping block by the AP board (It's Java, btw, so maybe it's for the better...)
