how can i switch out a hud to something different

ok so im building a new gravity rifle and i need to figure out how to change the carbines hud to the sentinel beams hudwhere it heats up showing u when it can overheat.....

i have the hud but it doesnt go up to show you when it over heats it goes down to show you how much ammo is left

You mean the reticle? It is the ndht tag. So if you go into dothalo, then go to the weapon. Then go to the dependency window, and then swap the nhdt to the reticle you want.

I think all you have to do is swap the hud of the gun at the hud tag. And if you want to do anything else, maybe skinning the hud would help. You could add stuff and take stuff out.
