Thanking Staff?

There's like no place to thank staff that have done a good job

. I just wanted to thank Ombre for cleaning up this whole fiasco tonight

I got an admin on AIM and he said the spammer shouldn't be able to post anymore.

They aren't banned. They're only RC'd. You talked to an admin? We have like 2 admins, and we really need more. There are several bans that need to be filled.

What fiasco happened?
Having 3 admins is fine...If they were active

And when people say "admin" do they mean staff here? Because just clearing posts is done by staff + admin.

Plus, I live in the best timezone, when all others are usually sleeping or are too kool, just tell me via PM or MSN of the problems and I'll solve them if possible.

What's the point of having a place to thank staff? I mean, don't get me wrong, we all love them and think they do a great job, but you have to admit, after a few days of having a forum or something dedicated to thanking staff members filled with "Thanks guys" "good job doods" "thanks for cleaning that up" it'd get old.

And I nominate SGEE for next admin (either him or GTAF) My fav mods.

And here it goes again. Promotions is not based on a democratic vote. There aren't nominations. People are chosen because they are qualified to do the job.

I agree with what Tural said 3 posts above me. Not trying to start a quote tree.

I also agree that a few more admins that were active wouldn't hurt.
