[wip] Spartan Laser, now fully working!!

7/24/07 6:30pm est time updated its now only for lockout because people were having problems tomorrow il make it for other maps

Oh hi im 7masterchief7 You may remember me from such mods as "make an assault rifle easily" (in my sig)

Its a work in progress im going to skin it soon its untested so tell me if it works good.

apply to lockout.map

Map Information:
[ YES ] __System Linkable
[ YES ] __Weapon Mods
[ YES ] __Skin Mods
[ YES ] __Vehicle Mods
[ Kinda ] __Physics Mods
[ Kinda ] __Lighting Mods

Plasma Pistol is now the spartan laser!

Specs:
3 second charge
3 second overcharge delay
uses 20.3% per blast

Other changes (note not functional on lockout)
Banshee bomb (still working on should be functional in next release)
Warthog lights (still working on but functional now)
First person warthog/spectre sideseat


should be 1 hit kill and able to move vehicles (and blow up) tell me if its not.


vids and pics would be appreciated this could be the best thing since the gravity gun.

I don't have a xbox 1 anymore my mods are for the public only


Version .5.0.6 beta


Fixed patch added new models and a new reticle updated attachments if it didnt previously work right download the newer version as i made several bug fixes


Need skinners or my project will get canceled and turn into only Spartan Laser

I have sweet effects for the vehicles and I have edited the physics of the vehicles youl see tomorrow when i make these mods on containment and coag.

below is for lockout and therfore invalid for now

Spartan laser should be at Plasma Pistol spawn and should respawn every 30 seconds when not in use.

Plasma grenades respawn every 10 seconds good for sticky icky matched

Forgot to post i edited the sentinel beam i cant take pics I don't have a xbox mine broke.





It should act just like a laser im thinking of using the fuel rod model seeign as how they are similar but i need to figure out where thee reticle images are stored

The spartan laser is supposed to have a 3 second charge.

Its actually supposed to have a 3.5 second charge but i think 4 would be more fair

It actually is 3 seconds and it seemed well ballanced in the beta, if it was a little more or less, it would of been to weak or strong. It would also be cool if you got a model on it.

How can i compress a map file dothalo wont let me do it i have decompressed to make with entity I forget the tool to compress them and i need to do this to get the laser setting perfect


damn I need a new weap plug in i replaced my new pluggins with my old back-ups :'(

can someone upload the newest weap pluggin they have (i need on with overcharge and charge)

btw cancel the lockout thing im going to make the changes on shared.map

why would u need to decompress it?

all new plugins are at http://plugins.pheonic.co.uk/

don't edit shared.map just internalize it to your map

1st upload your whole weap file please or paste the text either that plugins broke or my notepad isn't saving right.

Im now done with everythign except the charge but i need a new weap plugin for that.

even done with the model (fps needs tweeking)

Just internalize the stuff so you can do it on a map because I don't feel like putting in a whole patched shared.map just to test out a spartan laser.

pimped out lights for the warthog.


Im turning this into a whole h3 weapons mod my ar is 50% done but ima need a skin.


after i finish my ar il put these mods on coag also but it will take a while

sneaky no i wont im getting the meta from single player and injecting it.
