Jackson's comment implied that I said Halo 2 was bad, which is exactly the opposite of what I said. Halo has a specific main character, which I said all good games had.

My post was saying I disagreed with you. Halo 2 IS a good game, and I don't think that the master chief is what you said he was. But thats me and I didn't mean to get this argument going.

EDIT: I feel I need to verify this. Throughout the game the MC remains a pretty big mystery--You don't learn his history, his likes, and hates, his loves, nothing really. You learn that he is devoted, kills covies, has a cool head, and a few other things that make him feel a bit feel. Nothing specific though. maybe the books elaborate on it more but thats not what I'm drawing on here. I am calling on the GAMES.

If they did show his face, It should be while he is dying. In a very well rendered Cut-Scene. The ingame engine would ruin it, I would rather them show it rendered like in Starry Night.

It's just a human face to add to the immersiveness of the game.

I think Veegie is right though, it most likely isn't John's face. Probably just the standard human model to add realism. I think it would be cool if the let you take a picture with the vision cam. Then slap it on the face, they could make the visors opacity down just a tad so you could see it. Then again it would probably be filled with obscene pictures of people's privates.
