i have semi-successfully converted earthcity_4 to a mp map. i have the spawns in almost the right place, but why does it freeze every now and again? especially when i look at water. i am at the extent of my knowledge.
If that is your IP in your location ... you better take it off.
Oh, and there are all kinds of things that could make it freeze..
1.)Try again with new h2core
2.)Start nulling stuff
Also, I have a question for Anthony. What is the global_chorus_Speaker_effects (Or something like that). It takes forever to rebuild, and if it isn't important, than it would definitely speed up the rebuilding process.

Anthony wrote:Q: Why does it get stuck on "sound\dsp_effects\sound_effect_templates\global_speaker_chorus.effects"
A: It is not stuck on that tag, its just that the application doesn't update the GUI until starts writing the raw. So actually its processing things like String ID's Tag ID's Sounds and a few others.

btw thats his local IP its the same for pretty much everyone so its not going to hurt him if he has it
Im sorry, but I have tried to open gemini.scenario in H2G three time, but each time it severly lags the computer and will not open (I left it on overnight). This is a relatively new computer too, and it runs REALLY fast. Any ideas?

rofl
and smokey I just tested gemini right now and it opened in a few seconds, make sure that you use the newest version that we release lastnight and if you are using that version to clear out your tags folder and decompile gemini again
smokey wrote:ok ill try, thanks. Watch for my edit though. It may not work. Where did you go? I went to scenarios/multi/marathon/ or something like that.
yea its
scenarios\multi\marathon\gemini\gemini.scenario
Everyone check out the new version. We fixed deathzones, some other quirks, Ant redid h2g with a nice plugin system for people who want to code their own, and we included Soldier of Light's awesome scripting plugin.
smokey wrote:alright I got it to work and I just finished. Do I need to resign the map now? If so, which one, and what maps code do I use?
you have to resign every map, and if you talking about resinging for the tdata your going to have to figure that out for you self I don't like DLC modding...
