Err...take another look at the SMG. That clear box on the left side is the magazine. Count the bullets...I haven't yet but there can't be any more than 25....

EDIT: Ok I have counted. 23 exactly. Ok, 19 I could see and 4 obscured.

Ha ha. I suspect that the BR is the same, i.e. the "x40" indicates clip capacity. Also I tweaked the Spook weaponry and physics, Spook now weighs 1789 as opposed to Ghost's 2000 units of weight. ROF is marginally slower and weapon damage is marginally higher. Spook is now slightly faster, and with a higher hover strength. And in response to Vegito: Is there then any way I can make the hood close down when someone gets in?

Post more pics when I'm next allowed on the net from my home computer.

hes right about the clip capcity, you count the bullets, but, hunter, im sorry, but that ghosts model, is, well, sry, but its practicly the same, but otherwise, your getting better at modding, since at first you thought you could covert, so keep up the good work. :wink:

Don't say the E-word! I've had enough of those bastards to last me a lifetime!

So, there's really no way I can animate the hood? Well, I might just extend the sides of the seat out for added protection then... expect a beta version within a week or two, as soon as someone tells me (in English) how to do the collision model, or better still does it for me...

I've also asked Alx to do me some of the H2 models, but if anyone here wants to (My Milkshape is almost out and I'm not a very good modeller), then I will compare and choose the best. I'm using his Laserburst as my Covie sniper at the moment, but will take a better model when (if) it comes. Well, here's the ones I need, I want them very accurate, as good as possible...I know it's hard to do a good model, but I really do need better models...

I know I'm double posting again, but that last post has been edited, like, 3 times and as of now, I will not edit a post so it has two completely unrelated topics. Ok, here's my second vehicle idea: the Shroud Ground-Attack Aircraft. It's Covenant, basically a slightly beefed up Banshee, but with no secondary fire. New primary weapon is a pair of Needle Cannons, same ROF and projectile stats as the Needler but each cannon shoots off about 40 needles before a 1.5 second reload. Completely ineffective against vehicles, but awesomely devastating against infantry. What do you thin? I haven't started yet, but I probably will in a few days...

Also...how do I make it say "Spook" instead of Ghost? Preferably explain in English, not technical crap...

I know it's something to do with string entries, and apparently simple, but...

And don't flame me for not using search, I thought I might as well add this to my post instead...

That see though thing you think is the mag is the slide for the stock, extended.Watch the E3 demo at least. There is no way it only fires 23 rounds before a reload.

Just look properly, you'll see... I spend ages, almost (I said almost study) Halo and Halo 2... unlike you, who doesn't even glance.

Errm, I do anilise halo 2, as you put it, and I have anilised the smg, alot.

23 rounds is not alot, to few. The "mag" could hold more, on the other side, and in the middle, that you cannot see. Nobody knows the excact number, but Its not 23.

For you infomation, I am gonna link you to a thread, in which we all speculated about the smg. The 23 is 23mm the length of the bullet.

Yeah...real nice "Cannot find Server" message...

And I have no less than 4 detailed pics of the SMG. All on my PC. And from what I can tell (I haven't looked closely at some yet) the magazine is only on one side and that 23 ties in directly with the 23 bullets in the magazine...maybe the bullets are also 23mm long...But it's early days, we'll know for sure when Halo 2 actually comes out.

But at the moment, I stand by my claim. And also, there isn't any room at all for 100 bullets. I mean, even if there is a magazine on the other side, that only makes 46 bullets. Just hack it, you're wrong (or so I think, and other people DO support my theory).

Anyway, enough arguing about that, who can do those models for me?

Ok, let's get this straight. You and I disagree completely on the SMG and BR clip capacity. Solution? You can download the mod and then change it yourself. That sound OK to you? Because I am NOT changing it.

The Spook is almost done. But, seeing as model is 20% bigger than Banshee, you can imagine how stuffed the collision model and contrails are... and the projectile spawns too...

So it still needs work. But it's fun to fly, and even more fun to kill somebody with...

Piss off limeboy. I'm only using them until my ones are ready, people are working on them for me now, and anyway as far as I knew they were Nitro's. I don't know what you're on, but come off it fast. It's having adverse effects on your personality, unless you're always this much of a shithead. Didin't you read through this? I HAVE GOT SOMEONE MAKING MORE ACCURATE MODELS FOR ME. Maybe if you could make some more accurate ones, you could let me use them?

Also- and get ready for a long post here- my vehicles and Halo 2 mod have been postponed. At the moment, I'm working on a few conversions (THANKYOU MONO!!!) and also my pet AI project Bob the super-intelligent Hunter. Once I get good at conversions though, expect my first release conversion (d40_terrain) to own all others (except maybe Mono's :wink:). You can bet your life on flyable Pelicans, and, if HEK comes out in time (indeed if it ever comes out), there will also be flyable Covenant Dropships and Longswords (with Berkano's Engineer collision model editor, they will now have collision models), the Longswords having 4 chainguns and HOMING rockets... If not, they will still be there, but not flyable. Also, a few crashed Pelicans with ammo and health strewn about...and if it's possible (I think it is) dead Marines and dead Flood everywhere. Fires will be burning all about, and again, if possible, there will be random explosions. One flag will be in front of the ship and one behind. In a later version, I might even add Flood bots. Uh-oh, gotta run, the little men in white suits are coming!
