I've only really been addicted to two things in my life: Halomods and StarCraft. I'd like to break habits, not start new ones.

Well the thing is, WoW doesn't
really get fun until you get past lvl 15-20. Then you get to run instances, talent spec your character, play battlegrounds. That's when the fun really starts, because all you get at the first 15 or so levels is grinding/questing.

Yeah it got irritating and boaring to me when my friend wouldn't stop talking on the phone until I played it. I hung up and he called me back asking again :\ Being forced by irritation to play a game really ruins the game.

Frozen Throne > WoW.
Then again, I've never played WoW, so I wouldn't know... Well, I've never
wanted to play it.

I know what you mean by not wanting to play it because you can't pull yourself away, especially if you have an addictive personality.

The reason i don't play is the reason for many:
The Addiction
WoW is like nicotine.

More like heroine.
I've never played, nor do I have any desire to. My friend tells me that all the quests are essentially the same, just with different names (i.e. 'Kill the scorpion and come back with two horns' ... 12 quests later ... 'Kill the Griffin and bring back two feathers.' Note: I just made both those up, so those of you WoW addicts don't come get me)

It's very true, which is one of the big contributors to why it got boaring to me. MMORPGS arent my type of game but my friend won't stop harrasing me about them.
