Call me stupid, but I am having problems with PPF-o-matic

Post by JarJarShrinks »

I am having serious problems with the program called "ppf-o-matic3". I am following a tutorial located here. It continually instructs me that I should select a ppf file. I am following every instruction that the tutorial gives me, and I still find no success in gaining access to ppf files. Please help me.

Your signature is way to big. Also don't double post. (I believe it was caused by you pressing 'Submit' 2 times before letting it load. Because it is the same text. But then agian, you would be stoped by the timer post thing.

And for your help, you have to unrar the file, (to get the ppf) then you select it, and then you pick your map, (make sure you have a back up clean one of it) and then you patch it. And don't forget to resign.

Oh, and make sure your sending it to the right place.

And sorry if that sounds mean up there, but I am trying to help you not get banned ;x.

I reread it and it sounds mean, but don't take it like that.

Mean? Wow... you guys are a little soft eh? :P Sorry about the double post. I didn't notice it. Do you guys ban that fast?
However, that is precisly the problem. When I move the files to my MAPS folder, and try to patch it. I put it the location in the "ISO FILE" thingy and apply it and it says "you should select a ppf file, donkey!". Then I put the location into both and it says "cannot open the specified ppf file..."

The browser box for the *ISO thingy* should be the map file itself. The other box should be the ppf. Then hit apply, give it a few seconds. It'll say done, then resign the map and ftp it.
