Need help to start playing downloaded maps

after i downloaded several maps i did everything now i just need to know how to play them after transffering

So you patched them and FTP them correct? Well you just need to put them in your E:\Games\Halo 2\Maps folder. If you don't have a Halo 2 folder there you can create one. J
Name it Halo 2.
Now put your Halo 2 disk in your xbox when you are at your modded dashboard and no it won't close.
FTP and go to the D:\ drive.
Get these folders and files then FTP them to your computer.
Media
default.xbe
In the Maps folder get the mainmenu.map, shared.map and the fonts folder.
Now in the Halo 2 folder that you made in the Games folder, put the Media and default.xbe files in there.
Make a new folder named maps and put the mainmenu.map, shared.map and the fonts folder.

*You put all your modded maps in the maps folder*

i already did all that but the problem is that they dont show up wen i launch halo 2

one other thing tho.......do i hav to put the halo 2 folder in side the F drive?

If you have a stock HDD your probably better off putting the folder into the E drive like he said to. After you download the maps add them to your mainmenu and disable the AU and then they should show up.

ok now i know how to do it but the bad thing is i donno how to do the new maps to main menu thing

First one is a video tutorial using Dothalo by KB and the second is an application by MT to do it. You do whichever one you want.
You don't have to use those, there are many more applications and tutorials out there.

just 1 more question i need to ask. On the main menu editor where r u supposed to put the DDS file on ur xbox?
