Thats not a greanded thats the shield gen. he gets hit with the warth shot.

I like how hes not so "bad" like the halo 2 mc. hes like the old halo 1 mc like more of a person. lol and yes i think its the h1 postil YAY lol

That's a friggin' shield grenade. Watch him flip the cap and press the little red button. It's a grenade of sorts. He doesn't get hit with the wraith mortar, because the shield grenade protects him. And dear GOD your spelling and grammar suck. Please make it through elementary school before posting X(

Yes, he activates the device and a shield comes up. The Pistol is most likely a new pistol. The guy in the center of those is a Brute chieftain (probably). Those things surrounding him aren't Brutes (look at their ears/horns on their head...not Brutes). The Wraiths are a little different.

After he puts on his helmet, the child's voice can be heard saying "time to go" and I think that either Cortana, or some other female figure, says "Chief, leave me". BTW, those who say they aren't brutes at the end, please take a closer look...

Well I can't say for sure what pistol that is (H1 or H2) or even if it is a third, new pistol. What I can say is that the pistol, no matter what variation, will probably not be as overpowered as it was in Halo 1. Nor will it be weak and pathetic like the Halo 2 pistol (especially post 1.1 update). Hopefully, Bungie will find that perfect balance of power for the pistol and finally give us a semi-realistic and reliable sidearm.

Also, that shield generator looks awesome and whoever said it may be the X button's function is possibly correct. Think about the things that have been said about the X button by Bungie. When playing Halo 3 with the 1up.com guys, Bungie said they didn't even have to "activate their X buttons". A shield generator would certainly be something that is "activated". Also, it fits into context with what they were talking about: the fact that they pwned 1up.com and didn't even need an extra advantage (shield gen) to win.

I have mixed feelings on the shield generator device. Not sure whether I like it or not, yeah it's cool... but not sure if it should be in the multiplayer =/

Why can't you guys just take the fact that it's a NEW Pistol. Looks like a mix between the Halo 1 Pistol and Halo 2 Magnum.

Also after watching it like six times one figure is in the side-step crouch position a obvious animation of an elite, there are also several brutes with brute shots (which I misinterperted for hunter shields)

It looks like the E.U. pistol from BF:2142!!1! *snort snort*
While it does resemble the H1 pistol A LOT, I for one hope it's a good mix of both. The scopeyness of the Halo 1 pistol compared with the uber rapid fire of the Halo 2 magnum.

Since when did all of the elites rebel against the covenant? I'm sure there are still a good group, and last I checked brutes don't fly banshees.
