Plugging 360 into radeon x1800 video input software
Yo, ive finnaly got an xbox 360 and i need to play it using my monitor. It is all plugged in and ready to go, but the problem is that i have no software that can display the input. Anyone got any suggestions or links to programs that are free and capable of this?
hmmm.... if a cd or any software came bundled with your card, check into that, and check to make sure the connections you have your 360 plugged into are indeed input, and not output.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

I totally recommend the cable that Dos Mes linked to. Its basically a 40 buck ticket to HD gaming, but I suggest that you have a monitor for the 360 only and not have to share it. Some games distort the aspect ratios too, Gears is one of those games.

_____________
If your computer monitor does not have a -FEMALE- VGA input , and just a cable coming straight out, wich would be a -MALE- VGA, you will need a -FEMALE- VGA converter ~ this connects 2 -MALE- VGA inputs together, and looks like this:

What? This isn't a capture card. This is to hook your 360 up to your monitor so you can use it as your tv. You're so sillyPatrickssj6 wrote:Wait that works on every gfx card and you don't need a capture card??Dos Mes wrote:That's because you need these.

The cable comes with one of those and a A/v audio to the headphone jack thing converter.MaestroMan wrote:****a Mammoth wrote:Some games distort the aspect ratios too, Gears is one of those games.
