Help with using Sparkify .ppf's! They won't work?

Ok I have noticed some mods for halo pc trial version and I learned that I need the Sparkify enable and disable ppf's? So I downloaded them and used ppf-o-matic3 to apply the patches to a previously modded map for halo trial version (I have played it before so I know it is for halo trial) and it said it applied the patch succesfully) But when I open it up in sparkedit, sparkedit just freezes. I also have the latest version I believe of sparkedit (v3.02?) Cna someone help me? Thanks.

Nvm, I got it to work with a reg stock map. I guess its just because the map was previously modded.
