For some strange reason I'm missing the Terminal.map in my $C folder on both of my xboxs. Yet when I put the map pack disc in, I can't reinstall it because it is greyed out, I guess because it detects that the other maps are installed.
How can I fix it, delete all the folders that hold all of the maps from the map pack? What could've happen to it, I had it, it was there. I do use Memisis to download additional maps, could it have written over it, or is that even possible?
Also another question, why does using the original version of Halo 2 not allow you to see the games downloaded via Memisis, but you can with 1.1? I hate to have to add all those maps to the Mainmenu. How does 1.1 see them and add them on the fly, yet the original doesn't. There not physically installed to the mainmenu with 1.1, because if you edit the mainmenu, their not there.
I mean what is the big deal about 1.1, is it just hack proof or something. It's been out for over a year now if i'm not mistaken, and yet most hacks still only work with the original version.
How do you reinstall a map pack and what's the deal with 1.1

Did and it worked!Monkey Terd wrote:Go into the folder that is supposed to contain Terminal, and delete all the maps, the .lvl files, and the .xbx. Then it should let you re-install it with the disc.
Apparently I have terminal, it's just not named terminal, it's named triplicate for some reason. I thought it was actually named terimal.map and that's what I was looking for. The reason being is I patched my mainmenu with the patch that adds the new maps and when I opened it to look at it, it pointed to terimal as the path. Apparently the guy that make the the patch for the mainmenu missed that. It wouldn't load either of course, but that all can be easily fixed now since I know triplicate is terminal.
