I don't know what you exactly want to do but try Sony Vegas. I noticed alot of people use that for halo 1 and halo 2 montages.

yeah vegas is like $80 and vegas platnum is like $100 and there like some advanced thing I think its for like real movies or something for $500. I suggest adobe premeire elements though i think it costs some money its not too expensive.

Yeah I also have it, and admittedly, it scares the crap outta me, im sure photoshop wasn't that daunting when I first got it...
