The exception error

I have the Halo trial, and 3 out of 5 mods I use on your PC Mods forum won't let me play the maps. I made sure that it was the right format, and I followed EVERY INSTALLATION TO THE LETTER, but nothing seems to be working. The desertgulch and time machine mods? They're great!!! Except for the fact that I can't use them. I've tried everything from redownloading the mod to redownloading the original bloodgulch map itself, and nothing is working. I need help!!!

this happens to me once in a while too, the program tha made it had some troubles making the download, therefor, the halo game gives you an "gathering exception info" popup. i hate it when this happens

emm, you have the trial? the big majority of these maps are for the retail version, it's possible you're trying to put non trial maps into the trial lol. If those maps are for the trial, i'm stumped.

well, most of the ones are for the trial that I download, because I do have the trial, but then again, even the trial ones do have the exception sticker as well...

except for the fact that a couple were on your "best mods" set. Or maybe they weren't for the trial and someone just lied to me. Damn people.
