3D Modelers- HELP!

Yes, I'm a 'noob', look at my post count. I'm coming here because I'm in a major time crunch, So please hear me out.

I need a complete model of a Pelican from Halo 2.

I would go the alternate route of having friends with modded Xboxes rip all the elements off the Halo 2 disk and have other friends with experience in 3D tediously assemble it in 3DS Max, but I can't- I don't have time as I am on a deadline for a project I can not discuss. (But trust me- after you see the final project, you will be extremely glad you could have been of help- I am not exaggerating)

Anyone with the files for a fully textured and assembled Pelican from Halo 2 (and if possible- with moving/pivoting wings) please reply here and we'll trade IM info over Personal Messages. Even if you don't have the model but you know someone who does or you know of a place on the internet where one is stored, please tell me.

I greatly appreciate the help, I've gone everywhere and this is my last option. Please know I am on an extreme time crunch- I have 3 days to complete a test with this pelican or else I might as well have not come here at all.

*edit*- I'll even throw in some money- if no-one has one ready built, I'll commission you to do the rip and rebuild for $20 over paypal.

I dunno if u could get the tags from www.halomaps.org to work...Its the NPelican for HaloCe for hugeass...u might beable to convert it i guess?

I wouldnt know becuse i dont have Halo2 but u can try it =)

I've searched an all I've been able to find are models and textures of Halo 1 Pelicans.

I really wish I could tell you. I'm going out on a limb even bringing up it's existence and the fact that a Pelican might be involved

*edited initial post- I'm throwing some money in the mix here ($20, may go up) for whoever can find an accurate model.

It has a readme and stuff to tell u how to do it...its a .ppf file..SO u might beable to open it sumhow.

idk, I'm looking for native "click and open" files for 3DS Max- If I have to convert anything I might as well do the whole rip and assemble deal in the first place.

yes, textured, bumpmapped, as it looks in the campaign, easily openable in 3DS Max. I'll update the initial post to be more specific.

O.0 i feel bad that i had to reformat my pc and i dont have 3ds max 8 anymore..But if these .max files are what they looked like in game..they look pretty freaking cool.

The model truepain found didn't have a texture- so the hunt is still on and the $20 to rip and assemble one still stands.

It's not a promise I made to someone- but there are reasons for the secrecy and for the deadline. If you're not willing to help, there's nothing I can do to make you anyway, so don't.
