Anyone that's against the withholding of script information for now should shut the hell up and do it themselves with all the time wasted bitching about it...seriously people, GROW UP.

I'm gonna say great job on the mod, but i'm a bit unsure of what script injection could be capable of, obviously zero-grav mods, but can someone fill me in on what kinda stuff it makes possible? :D

Script injection has almost limitless possibilities. Once we get some tools, I'm going to try injecting a bigger script. Right now I'm thinking a scarab walking around coag.

However, they don't do anything to AI. AI is artificial intelligence. Scripting is a human telling the game what to do. AI is limited by the engine, and cannot be placed in multiplayer without editing it.

Im gonna inject the script from the arbitor level when your free falling, unless someone is already doing that, Man this a such a great discovery if you honestly dont know the possiblities about this than man you have no idea the true strength of scripts, Its great.

Someone should do a mod like this with scripts were you would see Covenant and UNSC forces battling in space or something, like, form the Cairo, Old Mombassa, all those locations with armies clashing.

well, that's if its possible to add all those.

I'm looking into a script that will make an attacking scarab. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it, but I'm hoping to get one that works. If not, I'll just have to have one walk around the level.

I forsee a plethora of low gravity "space station" mods as soon as this information is released. How long do you think it'll be before we're all sick of them?
So do you think there's a way to localize the effect, maybe? Like say, for those raise-the-water-level mods, you could lower the gravity under the water.
A walking scarab would be sweet. Do you think there could be triggerable scripts as well? Like hit a trigger and it activates a particular walking sequence or attack? You could have triggers that are set to go off when you get near them (like the door type machs) and then the scarab would try to step on you or blast you or something.

Well, localized gravity isn't possible. There are only so many script commands, and physics_set_gravity doesn't have a localized version.

As for triggered scripts, I'm not really sure. I know that I can use trigger_volumes to activate them (when you go here, do this). But I'm not sure what other ways they can be triggered.
