[MODEL] Shade Speeder Bike

Post by TrashiestGerm »

Hey, everybody. This model is a remodel of the shade to look like a hover bike, NOT a speeder from Star Wars. In the picture I made the Ghost use the Shade model using HHT v5. I know there are two stray verts in the fron and I'm gonna work on those when I get hom from school.

wow didnt see that comming naked eye not naked body.
naked eye means looking at the pic directly without sunglasses contact lenses or anyoither gear like that.

It's supposed to be like a hover chair thingy, but to make it move just make the ghost use this model. Use HHT v5 and swap the ghost's MOD2 file for the shade's MOD2 file.

To wasserbruner-

Yeah, and why don't we model the needler into a helicopter?

Not every model can be modeled the same way as others look like ( hope you understood that ) :D

It's probably really hard, and probably looks really bad, if he remodeled the Ghost :D

because a needler helicopter would be stupid. and it wouldnt be that hard at all lol...its not that complicated of a model....

but w/e. the model is ok.

No, your not getting it, that's just an example. But since you say a needler helicopter is stupid, then so is a a shade warthog :P You see, remodeling the warthog to a shade is probably easier then doing it with the ghost because the warthog has more vertices while the ghost has less.

It could be complicated... it might not look complicated, but the faces in the ghost can really mess you up :D

7/10 on the model, you did pretty good with it, but, there's the vertices, and I'm not much a fan of Star Wars :D

Thanks for the compliments, but while I'm here, anyone got any idea on how to take away the blue glow from the base of the turret?

yea, replace the shader with another shader. the shader for the blue glow in HMT is in the shader transparency tag and i forget the full name, but at the end it says beam tendril. that should b it. replace it with a shader from the shader model tag (propably 1 of the turret shaders would be best)

get a pic with someone on it. you can't tell the dimensions from that single shot. what i see isn't exactly great looking, but i suppose it is a start.

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D

It doesn't look like any kind of bike, but it reminds me of the Prophet's chair.
