Demo Help: Getting Map to show

Help with Halo PC Demo Version

I have made a custom map, made completely by myself based on bloodgulch.map.

I have named it warlock (after halo 2 map) but when I put it into the map files, it does not show in menu?

Is there a lock so no maps other bloodgulch show? If there is, is there any way of getting past this to play my custom map?

you cant make maps for halo PC or halo trial. you can only edit them using 3d modeling tools and hmt/hht

you can make maps for halo ce....

halo pc (full version) and halo trial do not allow custom maps.

What happens if I rename the map to a map on the full version so like wizard.map or something?

name it 2 bloodgulch.map and backup your old bloodgulch file

mb this should be locked or something so it doesnt turn out to be one of those topics with 60 posts of peoples theorys, just to get an answer that leads to "no, cant be done"

Um, what is wrong with that?
If they do that it means they're discussing a problem and then solving the problem.
Doesn't matter if they solve it or not.

from my knowledge and bad spelling

all i know is that Halo DEMO version dont allow to have different maps ect.
and if you buy the HaloPC game you can go here: www.Haloce.gearboxgamezone.com
and download Halo Custome Addition which allows you to put custome made maps onto the game and play it with others ect.
and i also heared that with CE you could mod an old map and any one can see it....
but thats all i know

you got ur halo pc game for only $5-10?
i got mine for $20.00

you need the full version of halo for halo custom edition to work ....

you tried renaming your modded map to bloodgulch.map becuase when modding halo pc or halo demo you cannot creat new map files by renaming a old 1 , halo was not made to be modded however halo ce was , you can only modify existing maps on halo pc and halo trial
