Some of you might now that there was a working aimbot released for halo today. I know halo is in it's dieing days, but there are still die hard halo lovers out there that refuse to drop the game. What I need is a group of people who now how to produce an anti-cheat program that will be hard to by-pass. Server-side would be prefered although that is extremly difficult. Maybe a program that a client has to run that scans their computer and then lets them play halo and sends information somewhere to tell users who is certified and whose not. There is currently something out called halo buster, but there is a by-pass and I doubt the guy that developed it will ever update it cause he is lazy. I don't really expect anyone to help, but i guess i feel lucky and it's halo's last hope. Leagues would make this program mandatory to be run.
If you don't think the community can do it... considering halo does not have many coders in the community then atleast post in here so we can get this discussed. http://bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=4773540This is a big issue that needs to be fixed.
Coders needed! save halo!
That already exists...it's called Sentinel. Too bad it never really took off.
Sentinel verifies that the server maps match your client maps, and will not let you join the server unless they do match. Maybe this aimbot will encourage people to use it again. Read about it here (you can even download it and use it if you like):
