Soundtrack while playing Halo 2

I've searched the forums for previous threads on the topic but found none. My question is whether or not it is possbile to listen to my soundtracks stored on my xbox while playing halo 2? This is not a default option for some odd reason, but I'm curious as to how I could achieve this. Any input is appreciated.
