Heres a little tutorial with a pic for ya:
1. Open up H2edit or Dothalo
2. Open up your mainmenu.map
3. Scroll down to the [matg] Global tag, and double click to open it and click on globals/globals
4. Then in the tag-editor
a) click on the "Multiplayer Maps" drop-down box and select a number (usually 12 if you havent added any maps) and if you have, then click on a number that has a -1 in the value spot and nothing else.
b) Now choose a value of any number as long as it hasn't been used. Make sure the "Next Value?" has the same number.
c) Put the name of your map in this space. You can fill out the other languages and stuff, but it's not needed.
d) The description of your map goes here.
e) Just put in the same thing I put here.
5. Once thats done, save the changes, fix the encryption, close the map, and ftp it to your xbox.
Hope that helps

its pissing me off, everyone is wasting time trying to hex when its unnecesary
You will if you want to add previews for your new maps.. Many of the extra preview bitmaps share the same raw, so if you change one, you change them all..
EDIT: Oh, and nice bump..
