Pelican offset help

I have been trying to make the pelican flyable on silent cartographer for 2 days now and I havent been able to do it, ive come close though and got in the passenger seat. If someone could tell me what offsets to change to get it to be pilotable and fly I would greatly appreciate it.

ok first restart the level,then get to the part were foe hammer drops u the wart hog,DONT LET ANY MARINES GET IN then drive to the checkpoint,save then switch the warthogs offset with the pelican and load ur save and ull be in the pelican.Im to tired to find the offsets 4 yah ull have to get em ur self

what is this flyable pelican thing you guys are talking about?I have never heard of it, could you please explaing what it is and how i could do it?

ok, heres exactly what u do... you play halo pc... you go to silent cartographer, and u start to play. now.. u kill off the firt bunch of guys.. and a warthog comes.. you get in the warthog and start driving towards the next set of guys... you get a checkpoint. AFTER the checkpoint you quit out of the game. then you go to your halo folder, and copy the b30 map file.. then you open the b30 map file with a hex editor and change the warthog value (B012A140) with the pelican value (18D6A740) note this works with marines in it or not.. but either way, if u go to high it will freeze (not always but 99%) ok, now go try it and stop bothering

btw u can do this with any stage that has a pelican in it and a vehicle u can switch it into

M.A.C. its very easy.. just follow my little tiny tut and u can do it wit no prob.. and yes u can do it wit any lvl that has a pelican in it.. jus like u can switch weapons and other things too.

Uh. Note that you can change this BEFORE getting the checkpoint. The only reason you'd need the checkpoint is to be driving the thing... Anyone done this to see if they could pilot a wraith in AotCR?

Im not sure if this is an xbox only type thing but I believe that if you make yourself an ellite in that level(after a checkpoint so u dont fall out of the pelican)you can drive the Wraith because you are an ellite, I saw that in a video of Xbox hacking though and im not sure what the video was called.

Actually, whoever it was (BOLL, maybe?) 'bumped' an elite, and then entered a wraith. I haven't checked, but I don't think you can just swap the values for an MC and an Elite and keep the game from crashing. Iono though.

dude all you have to do is just change the mc biped to the elite biped and youll be an elite

You know, I just used HMTv3 and changed the wraith-driver to g-driver.
