Question about MC damage lighting effect.
Question about MC damage lighting effect.
It's been a while since I actually modded (besides skins) and I am making a Halo film and can't remember how to get the MC lit up like it just got shot but for a sustained period of time. I would prefer it not to be on all MC's or even be permanent. Maybe just activating the effect by picking up invis or an overshield then wears off would be perfect. I realize after typing this that it could be used as an advantage in gameplay so PM me if you don't want to post it to the public. Thanks guys.

I would look at using HHT and swapping the cyborg light dependency for
the effect you want. This will allow you to switch it on and off using the
flashlight key.
I have previously used this to get the MC helmet to ignite by swapping
the flame effect, and this is alos how you get him to explode with the
scorpion shell explosion effect.
So you should be able to get the shield plasma hit FX as well.

For instance: You pick up invis and instead of turning invisible you light up like you just got shot and stay that way until the powerup wears off.Hunter wrote:Uhh... could you clarify that a little?
Thanks Decoy. I'll give it a try. You wouldn't happen to know the tag or dependancy for the lighting effect from the MC being shot do you?
