Open HMT and open the map you want to modify the Chief on. Go to [bipd] Bipeds and click the plus arrow. If the covenent you want to have the Chief play as isn't there, follow the next step. Otherwise, skip to the next paragraph.

Use HMT and follow this tutorial. Except instead of "Pelican" replace it with whatever Convenent you want to use.

Open HMT again and go to [bipd] Biped and click on character\cyborb\cyborg or character\cyborb_mp\cyborg_mp depending on if this is multiplayer. Click on Swap. Click the covenent you want to swap with. Click save and load that level.
