[Player blows crap out of aimlessly jumping Elite with SMG, Elite drops
flag]
Red Team flag dropped

[Cuts to player, now with M19 ("SPNKr") manning turret]
These names all sound like bots; names like Truth, Pity, Disdain and
Regret for the Elites and Mendoza, Johnson, and the like for humans.
Also note the suffixed '1's on some of the names.
Maybe the guys at Bungie like naming themselves that way, or maybe there
ARE bots (for game dev & troubleshooting only, perhaps?)

there are no bots...i agree...i think these are preset names for players and the people who played it werent allowed much time to play so who would want to change there name while they could be playing carange. As far as everything else its halo2 they probably just wanted to look around a bit and see whats new with things and get the feel of it...

Ey, heres what I think, those might have been from a beta right? You know how in Halo 1, if you dont assign yourself a name it will give you one (like Dopey) well thats prob. the case in Halo 2 and they didnt have the time to spend 30 min setting up their profiles and insterting 3000 symbols in their name, so just quick play and thats it, they get pre assigned names.
