i cannot type in halo ce!

i cannot type in halo ce!

because of that i cannot do anything to distroy leakers!

i hit "T" and the grey bar comes up with and if i type nothing happens

i also get no annoucements of ppl joining a game or such and such

this has happened to me before i just uninstalled then reinstalled halo and it worked again there was another way i just forgot how

I figured out that if you install the original HPC that it works just fine. Then you can uninstall it again, but the bit that gives text in CE isn't removed.

its a issues between Halo CE and Halo... try reinstalling...

ok... lol... i had to reset my computer back to factory and i didnt reinstall halo pc after

This is an issue with Microsoft XML Parser not installing, or installing incorrectly. If you only have CE installed, it's likely you need to install the XML parser to get back text and chat.

Download the file msxml.msi at the bottom of the page and run it to install.

yep that was it the xml parser thats what i forgot
