Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Okay, yes. It is about 600 dollars lol.

But oyu can do one of three things.

-Download the trial.

-Spend 600 dollars

or

-(if you are a student) buy the one year user license for 100-something dollars. Full version for one year. Think about it. You could get a few years off that before you even get to 600 and by then the newer one would be out lol

but you need liek a notice from a school person...to prove you are a student.....yea...

If you have a liscence, it would be like 600, if you dont then it is probably more like 2600. It is a veryy expensive program. I got it lent off a friend of my dads tho. :P

Am I the only one who finds it strange that you can't find 3dsmax on ebay? All I can find is tutorial CDs.

I still can't find any real difference between maxr2.5 and all the ones after it, except that pretty much pointless menu on the left and the transform gizmo (which is great).

3ds max 6 is $3750, the educational version (you can't make money off of it or they will sue you) is $600
