Well i just installed an ATI 9600 256mg on my computer and when i try to run halo i get:
'Your computer's video driver was not tested with this game. A newer version that is compatible may be available. If you wish to update your drivers, please contact your computer manufacturer for any necessary help.'
even tho it says in the halo compatibility list that the ATI 9600 works PLEASE HELP I CANT PLAY HALO!!!!!!!

Oh Crap.
Not exactly sure what to do here... but.
ATI 9600 256MB cards are known to sometimes have some serious issues with playing Halo...
Just to confirm:
1. Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers. Go here for them. http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
2. Go to www.microsoft.com/games/halo then go to download, get the latest patch, when that is installed, follow the instructions to install "Strings.DLL".
Then see how you go. Come back here if you still have problems. Oh. One other thing. SP2 has been known to have problems with Halo.
