Hey guys ! Whats up? Well, anyway if you got good strategies when playing campain/multiplayer post em all here !
I cant think of anyone in particular right now but i remember this, something i should not have done while playing campain:
The big flood guys who blow up when they get close to you and then realese some quite smaller flood guys, do not use grenades on them!
Firstly they blow up with some few shots in em, plus that a grenade dont blow them up! it just makes them flying away and then they explode.
(that can be useful if your in a tight situation)
And a plasma grenade is NOT recommended cuz if you put em in-front of them and then if they explode cuz you shot em or for some other reason it sends the plasma grenade flying against you! It has killed me some times now and im sick of it! Yes ive learned now.
And aint it super funny when you first get a banshee, then these little grunts kill you with a fuel rod? LOL! these little guys!

Halo Campain/Multiplayer Strategies
This is me Ethernet ya, but it was killercow before.
stratigies for mp and single player
With Campain really for the first few levels you should stick with the assault rifle/plasma rifle and pistol once you reach level 6 (343 guilty spark) then you should aim for the shotgun/pistol (if you havent beatin the game already then youll find out why) and all the levels after that that would be a good choice you could choose the assault rifle but its not too powerful or accurate but if your good with it use it. NEVER USE THE SNIPER FOR ANY OF THE LEVELS 6-10 (again if you havent beatin the game you'll find out why)
For multiplayer it really depends on how good you are and how good your oppenent is. Alot of people like the pistol sniper combo, pistol shotgun, or the shotgun sniper. If your good and your opponent is also then dont use the assault rifle unless you really know what your doing because all it is, is a weak gun that fires really fast and is very inaccurate. Try getting the pistol, it can be used well by noobs and even better by pros, its accurate (zoom), powerful, and is semi-auto. Shotgun is a good thing for csmall maps such as Rat Race and Battle Creek. Its a one shot kill at close range. This weapon is good for Hang em High with the pistol.
The sniper if used correclty is a one shot kill weapon, Really you could say its the covenant energy sword for Halo 1. (again thats if YOU know how to use it correctly) This weapon can be best used it you have a pistol handy. The down side to the sniper is that it kind of bad for close range. All the other weapons such as Rocket launcher, plasma rifle, plasma pistol, and the needler can be used too. Rocket launcher is powerful but slow, plasma rifle is a decent weapon but can over heat just like all plasma weapons and it is not too accurate, plasma pistol is also decent but usually when people duke it out with these things is they put it in over charge and it really drains ammo if used it can be powerful, the needler is considered by many really bad this is so because its not fast not powerful and by no means a anti son of a bitch uhhh weapon, dont use it unless you wanna die.
Soo there you go you dont have to do this just find something comfertablr for you.

Well its one thing with all the snipers, its that on Halo PC there is alot more laaaaaaaag then on xbox. And becuss of that you need to aim infront of the enemy so he walks right into it, and this is tho very hard but can be masterd. Just find games where you start with the sniper and train there.
And when it comes to the shotgun then this is an ultimate weapon if you know how to use it right.
The thing is, if you play at small levels for example Battle Creek then if you can get close enough to an enemy quickly shot em right in their stomach and whatever then fastly after press the "F" to melee if you hit them, dead. Instantly kill if they got full health and shield at 100% health setting.
And for the pistol, this is an superb weapon if you know how to use this right to.
ALWAYS aim for the head, if you dont you wont kill anyone, and im saying its a lovely feeling to kill one after one with this weapon.
Do not hold down your shoot button, then the accuracy goes way down and you wont hit much really.
A little story: When the Halo demo whas out, i played on the net all the time, and i was a master with the pistol, i could beat anyone.
But now i cant beat an ant in a pistol duel, becuss im too facinated by the sniper rifle`s headshot kills and thats almost the only weapon i use, so i need much training with the pistol now. But its going to be worth it becuss its one heck of an weapon when your good with it.

Shotgun and sniper is a relly dangerus mix, becuss then you dont have any mid range weapons like the pistol, and many people use the pistol so thats not that smart. And you dont get many sniper shots so if you use them then and dont kill the enemy then your as good as dead.

I found plasmas can be very effective in one situstion...And a plasma grenade is NOT recommended
Elite + energy sword
u + plasma grenade
Elite charges at u, and u charge at it, trowing the grenade on its chest wivout stopping.
The elite swings at u, but misses as uve gone past it
Nade goes Boom, and ur safely behind the elite

At the level Truth and Reconciliation where you get loads of sniper, after you have got up in the ship, there i aaaaalways snipe the sword elites in the head becuss its a one-shot kill and i got noooo problems at all with sniping people(elites) in the head

Those are the best weapons on smallish maps .... a grenade followed by a single pistol bullet to the head = quick kill, if you time it for the explosion, they dont know what the hell hit them :P I only use rockets if I'm starting to lose in a particular fight or when multiple kills are possible.Ethernet wrote:Let me guess witch weapons you use then in Battle Creek:

The rest of the time I go for the strongest player I see in terms of skills and health (best to get them down and out, then the rest are easy pickings) and then mop up the rest.

I never play any other level than Blood Gulch really becuss thats the only level i really like. I think they sould have more levels with jungle theme and open fields like Blood Gulch, but they will hopefully add em in Halo2,
we will just have to wait and see.

And i found one: Before you could beat many people with your pistol, suddenly after much training with sniper, you cant ?
Just turn your sensitivity down!
It worked for me!
Conclusion: High sensitivity works for sniper, low for pistol.
i like the pistol assult rifle. cause the assult rifle always wins(if your good) within 15 feet and a pistol for everything further. plasma rifle is also pretty good cause if you shoot your opponet four times (which is easy for a rapid fire gun) then hit him anywhere he dies

Are you crazy! PP is a ace weapon! With no shields, the enemys can go down in seconds!Well I use mainly the AR and pistol and NEVER touch the plasma pistol (the things is a peaice of #@$%) and you kinda got that wrong about the needler the needler is your best freind when playing (unless someone has a faster deadiler weapon like the rocketlauncher or FRG aka fuel rod gun)
And about the needler, th@s wot i was implying (sp?)!

So canping in a scorp behing the enemies base, and blasting them as soon as they spawn isnt cheap?there's no such thing as a "cheap tactic".

OK, another stratergy. Bloodgulch, Oddball. No nav points.
Grab ball and camo and hide in the lil bush near the launcher. very difficult to see and there's a useful weapon very near!
humm, and another for legendary. If ur sheild gets depleated RUN!
