I'm not changing the skins... I'm changing the multipurpose maps to make the broken shaders work.

yeah thats what i thought, because the multipurpose skin was changed to have scratches and it was better contrasted as every thing else. So to me you did change the skin. Multipurpose or regular.

I just tried to replicate the Xbox shader, not make any special alterations. I'm not changing the ones that already work.

Yes i found out how to apply it thanks. This I must say is an excellent mod. Though a few bugs, and not everything has been fixed. Brilliant mod. Here are some things you might be able to fix (or didn't notice) :
Remember how much better Captain Keyes' jacket looked in the xbox version? Try compare it to the PC version. Also the ring viewed from the escape pod during that cutscene looks the same, whilst on the xbox version you can see a nice thick shadow over half of it. Also I will be supporting you on fixing the jackal force shields. You can do it!! Oh also try and darken the assualt rifle if possible to make it look alot more like the xbox version. If you can plz try to fix the HUD, to make it look like the old one. Thanks for this brilliant mod and I wish you the best of luck for the next update.

I wish someone can find out how to make this game look silky smooth at 30 fps like on the xbox, that's the only thing that's better on the xbox when I compare it with this mod. Keep on making good mods and enjoy life. good luck.

That's a problem for your computer, not the game. Get more RAM.

no no no, yu got me wrong. I have an ATI X1600 PRO 256MB (supports 3.0P.S), 1GB of RAM and an AMD Athlon 3200+ that is the same as an intel at 3.20GHz. So as you can see I can play this game pretty nicely, what I meant to say was that on the xbox microsoft somehow masked it to make games look smooth at 30 fps. On my PC I get a constant 140 fps, but in the most laggiest two places of the game, I get 40 fps. :(. All I'm saying is that I wish that someone can find out how to "mask" it to make it look silky smooth at 30 fps like on the xbox. I'm not saying 30 fps isn't smooth, it just doesn't look as great like on the xbox. I heard that on Nvidia cards this game goes smoother. I'm going to further research into that. I am again going to thank you for the mod: Thanks.

Halo menu -> settings -> video settings -> 30 FPS. Description: This allows for the smoothest gameplay (or something).

For smoothest, go novsync, for no lags 30 FPS. besides, I find novsync way to smooth, feel weird.

Does this fix contain a multipurpose for the healthpack? The one on the xbox glows, or rather, pulsates slowly with light.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.
