Mabe Halo2 uses different geometry, im not sure, but the point remains.
Heh, im just learning from 3ds max :D In that Z is up and down. Meh who cares :)

Damn you beat me too it! Actually my guess was that like in Halo which I learned today you could determine where the projectiles would be shot from. So after determining the posistions using floats I thought maybe you gave the initial speed a negative number to give the 5 second delay, and then finally give it a faster speed for the final speed. Am I near right?

Gabs, lol You were right :P I feel foolish now. I edited, lol

Zero, I already posted that :P

And also, I dont think you are anywhere near right, because when I change the two speeds, it always uses the final speed. All he did was make it shoot from higher up, and the delay is the rockets falling down.

But, nice try :D

Actually, travis a map is only so big. To make it shoot from very high you would need to take out the invisible barrier. So if I'm correct he must of delayed it using inital speed

acutally there's an option which determines wether Z or Y is the up axis. I prefere to make Y the Up because of the math pounded into my brain at an early age tells me Y is up and Z is forward and backward

The invisible barrier only effects units (vehicles/bipeds)...This can easily be shown by walking into one on Zanzibar, and then throwing a grenade... ;o)

As for the recharging, I'd like to see you find another weapon in Halo 2 that gains ammo over time... ;o>

And, as for pictures...Pictures don't do much justice for most mods...Unless they're obvious model swaps which are so yesterday in "looking cool", since apparently nothings cool once it's been done before... ;oP Besides, look at all the people who see pictures and dedicate their life to replicating them???I suppose there's something to be said for people being so dedicated to the stuff we do...

I love all the speculation on how this one was done though... ;o)

Awesome job TF6, cant wait for the next one in 6 months or w/e you said on irc... I have a feeling it will have no one being able to speculate on how to do it...

Once we finish "The unspeakable", this will be small potatoes.

Well done TF6 but i gotta say a bit of a let down i'd expect a ground breaking fully rework map...yes it's impressive but not by what we were expecting! (Not like a full map rebuild / sp - mp map conversion / model injection / LAN CO-OP, but nonetheless a good mod by average modders standards)

i'm glad i got my mod out before the 7th Sanctums big ....thing....what are you guys upto????
give us a clue.....

well if it's what i'm thinking when you inject that into a map it tends to change size and is no longer a valid halo 2 map file

Ummmmm. Zero, no offence, but do you even know what you are talking about???? And also, it only goes as high up as it can, you wanna know how I can saftely determine this? If you go inside of a building and shoot it, the missles will come from above your head, since they cant go any higher.

So, I am almost positive that you are wrong, but as I said, nice try :D
