Misfit Modeler

Post by bigshot007 »

Misfit is a modeling program of course. Its the perfect, basic, easy, and free modeler I have found. It has many great functions. This is not my program in any way, I just am posting a link and explaining what this daddy can do.Image

Can't wait to see some awesome models!!! :D

Looks good, yet how should I do if I want to use this with a Halo model? Bet it's really simple, and I'm just eternallly stupid.

Export model with HMT

Open With Misfit

Edit

Click save as, save it as 'filename'.OBJ (make sure you type ".obj" at the end)

when the next box comes up, uncheck save normals.

Import with HMT

play game.

Yeah, well I did as you said, yet when I opened the .obj file in Misfit, it's just empty... I don't kno why. It says that the file is opened, and I still don't se anything! Any ideas what might be the problem?

Try exporting the model with HMT again. and you may have to zoom in/out to find it.

Just make sure you exported right, and don't change the name.

Pleh, bleh and meh. You can save and rename hey willy nilly, but you have to export from HMT and save in Misfit correctly. Say yes to what HMT asks, and uncheck the 'save normals' box when saving as an 'obj' in misfit. Wow, major sense of deja vu for some reason. :P
